AWCMS donates more than $60,000 to Non-profits during live check presentation

The Alliance with Washoe County Medical Society(AWCMS) will award donations to their annual grant recipients in a live, media-friendly event. Each award recipient will be invited to speak (for approximately 2 minutes) on their organization, and how their award will be used to support individual initiatives.

  AWCMS donation recipients this year include 15 local organizations such as Care Chest, Solace Tree, The Food Bank of Northern Nevada, the University of Nevada Reno Foundation, Reno Pops Orchestra and more. Thursday, February 28  9:30am- 11:30am Reno Livestock Event Center,  1350 N. Wells Ave. in Reno The Alliance with Washoe County Medical Society (AWCMS) is a non-profit, 501c3 organization and its members are the spouses of physicians in northern Nevada. The organization’s largest annual fundraiser- Rummage Sale- will take place on Saturday, March 2, 2013 and has been hosted in our area since 1951.
