COAT DRIVE SATURDAY:    In coordination with Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows and the Hot August Nights Foundation the University of Nevada is holding a coat drive at Saturday’s Boise State men’ basketball game.  Fans are asked to donate new or slightly used coats at the game.

SUITS AND SNEAKERS:    Nevada men’s basketball coaches and staff will be wearing sneakers on Saturday as part of the 2013 Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers awareness weekend. Suits and Sneakers is a national Coaches vs. Cancer event that is designed to raise awareness about the fight against cancer and the American Cancer Society by encouraging member coaches and their coaching staffs to wear sneakers with their suits at games held that weekend to show support for the Coaches vs. Cancer program. By wearing sneakers, participating coaches help raise awareness about cancer and the importance that nutrition and physical activity play in reducing one’s risk of the disease.
