RENOWN HEALTH NEWS RELEASE

damianlarson-234x300-3084819-9376235For children in the hospital, support from others often makes it easier to get through their stay and back to playing with friends. Sometimes, simply hearing words of encouragement can make them smile.

Renown Scribbles Twitter has launched “Tweet the Love,” a month-long campaign to get employees and the community to post special messages on Twitter to patients at Renown Children’s Hospital.

Throughout the month of January, Renown Children’s Hospital will #TweetTheLove and introduce Twitter followers to some of their patients, like 4-year-old Damian Larson, who is battling leukemia. Send @RenownScribbles your positive message tweets with the hashtag #TweetTheLove, and Renown will share your note with those in need of a smile.

You can send in hopeful wishes, corny jokes, uplifting quotes…anything that might help them laugh and smile. Just remember to include #TweetTheLove so the hospital can find your messages.

Be sure to follow Renown on Twitter to see everyone’s uplifting messages and help them brighten a child’s day.
