Your child has a cold and needs to see a doctor. You are already running late to drop the other kids off at school and it looks like your plans of catching up on errands will have to be postponed. Good news is Renown Health can help you see a doctor quicker allowing you to get on with your day.
Renown Health introduces an online tool for the public to see how fast they can be seen by a physician or healthcare provider. Accessible by smartphone or computer, the system allows consumers to make a more informed choice of where to go for their medical care. The tool can be sorted by location or shortest wait-time.
Located on renown.org, the online tool lists patient count for five Emergency Rooms (ERs) (Renown Regional Medical Center FastTrack and regular ER, Renown South Meadows Medical Center FastTrack and regular ER and the Children’s ER) and nine Urgent Care locations. The display is updated every 10 minutes.
“Depending on the severity of patients’ injury or illness, they can choose between many locations for their care,” said Jeffrey Stout, chief nursing officer at Renown Regional Medical Center. “This feature is designed to better each person’s experience by providing on-the-go options to find care.”
