Washoe County Clerk Amy Harvey, who has been helping organize the food drive, said county employees have worked hard to collect as many donations as possible.

“We asked all county employees that are able and willing, to meet Friday so we can load up a truck and drive to Evelyn Mount’s to deliver the food,” said Harvey. “And we were lucky that one of our team members, Randy Amestoy from the Clerk’s Office, is kind enough to loan us his truck so we can get all the canned goods over to Evelyn’s by approximately 1 p.m.”
