Woodburn and Wedge, a Nevada-based independent law firm, has been rated a “2013 U.S. Top Ranked Law Firm” by LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell recognizing the firms exceptional legal abilities and professional ethical standards. The list will appear in Fortune magazine’s Dec. 24 Special 2013 Investor’s Guide.
In order to determine their rankings, LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell researched its database and identified U.S. law firms with 10 or more attorneys, where at least a third of the attorneys achieved the AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating. This peer review rating indicates the rated attorney has been deemed by his or her peers to have demonstrated the highest level of ethical standards and legal ability. These peer review ratings are driven by the confidential opinions of lawyers and members of the judiciary, who provide reviews of lawyers about whom they have professional knowledge.
