Washoe County up to 68 percent turnout by this afternoon

voteheresign-300x282-6756462-6661399Washoe County Senior Deputy Registrar Luanne Cutler reports 33,305 Washoe County registered voters had voted today between 7 a.m. and approximately 3:30 p.m. in the general election. That brought the total to nearly 68 percent who had voted in Washoe County, which includes early voters and absentee ballots.

All qualified voters who wished to cast a ballot for the Nov. 6 general election had to do so before 7 p.m. PST this evening at their assigned polling place.
