Most Washoe County offices will be closed this Thursday and Friday, November 22 and 23, due to the Thanksgiving holiday. The following will be closed:
- Administrative offices at the Washoe County Complex on 9th Street in Reno
- Washoe County Senior Services facilities
- The Downtown Reno and the Spanish Springs libraries will be closed Wednesday, November 21. All other libraries close at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, November 21, and will also be closed Thursday and Friday, November 22 and 23 for Thanksgiving and Family Day.
- Washoe County District Attorney’s Office
- Washoe County District Court
The following will be open:
- The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, including its reception and front desk area
- Pursuant to state law, the recently relocated office of the County Clerk (now at the Washoe County Complex at 9th Street & Wells Avenue) will remain open daily throughout the holidays from 8:00 a.m. to midnight for the issuance of marriage licenses.
