Secondhand Prose Hosts Annual Holiday Open House

washoe-300x294-7268006-2387217Secondhand Prose will hold its Annual Holiday Open House on Saturday, December 1, from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. This unique bookstore and gift shop is located in the Northwest Reno Library, at 2325 Robb Drive. Secondhand Prose is operated by the Friends of Washoe County Library. Free holiday refreshments will be served. There will also be live performances by Reno-area harpists.
“Our Annual Open House is a great opportunity to buy gently used books, an assortment of book-themed gift baskets for all occasions, and holiday ornaments. It’s best to come early,” said Vivian Roberts of Secondhand Prose.
Secondhand Prose carries a choice selection of gently used books including fiction and non-fiction, vintage and collectible titles, gift books, and children’s books. There is a great section on Nevada and the West, and books for the home and garden, books on tape and CD, classic movies, and bargain bins.
The Open House also features a great selection of book themed gift baskets, decorations, and gift items. Free holiday refreshments. Visa and Master Cards are accepted.
