Nevada head coach Jane Albright enters her fifth year leading the program, with a record of 64-64 and 461-376 (28 years) overall. Albright is 3-1 in season openers with the Wolf Pack, winning the last three consecutive openers. The team opened the 2011-12 season with a 91-74 win against St. Martin’s.

“We’ve had several great practices this week where we have gotten better from our exhibition game,” head coach Jane Albright said. “We know what we need to do to be successful offensively and defensively in our system. We fine tuned some things and are ready to go Friday night.”

The contest will be the first of the year for Cal State Fullerton. The Titans defeated the Wolf Pack 76-74 in the last meeting during the 2011-12 season in Fullerton, Calif. Junior Danika Sharp had 12 points and four rebounds in the loss. Nevada leads the overall series 9-7.
