The University of Nevada men’s tennis team finished their final day at the ITA Mountain Regionals on Sunday.

The highlight of the tournament for the Wolf Pack was a second place singles consolation finish from Moez Echargui. He dropped his finals match to No. 2 seed Slim Hamza of Utah University in straight sets 6-3, 6-3.

In doubles play, the team of Echargui and freshman Andrew Poustie earned a quarterfinal birth in their doubles consolation bracket before falling to Grant Taylor and Lance Wilhelm of Air Force Academy 8-2.

In the main doubles draw, Victor Ouvrard and partner Fernando Sunago dropped their quarterfinal match to Ace Matias and Bernard Schoeman of in-state rival UNLV 8-3.

The Wolf Pack are in action next against UC Irvine as they kick off dual match play on Jan. 15, 2013.
