Students from the Truckee Meadows Community College’s (TMCC) Visual and Performing Arts Department will take to the stage to perform one of the finest and most successful musical comedies ever performed on Broadway, “Guys and Dolls.” The production is based on the story and characters of Damon Runyon and was written by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows while the famed music and lyrics were created by American songwriter Frank Loesser. The play is set during the Depression and tells the story of two big-city gamblers and the women that love them.
Performances will be held at the TMCC Nell J. Redfield Foundation Performing Arts Center on West Fifth Street and Keystone Ave. Tickets purchased in advance are $15 for general, $13 for students and seniors and $10 for TMCC students. Tickets at the door are $17 for general, $15 for students and seniors and $10 for TMCC students. Tickets can be purchased for the following performances:
