“Nothing takes you back to childhood quite like throwing a bunch of rubber balls as hard as you can at your friends,” said Alicia Barr, co-owner, FiftyFifty Breweing Co. “Partnering with the High Fives Foundation for the first annual event last year was an absolute blast, and a really great way to bring the community together for some old school fun. We are really excited about going even bigger and better this year!”
“The Annual Truckee Dodgeball Tournament is for all hard core people, those who think they are hard core and for others that need a good laugh,” said Daron Rahlves, professional skier. “This tournament was the highlight of my fall last year. I’m looking forward to good times with the community while raising money for my favorite non-profit, the High Fives Foundation.”
Rahlves added, “On Oct. 21, the Sugar Bowl Academy Team will be fired up to throw down the 5 D’s – dodge, dip, duck, dive and dodge – for tournament domination.”
