The No. 9 University of Nevada Rifle team heads to Oxford, Miss., Saturday to compete at Ole Miss.
Carmen Luke, Clif Little, Haunani Akana, Chelsie Hata, Olivia Pennell, and Jessica Ruxton will be competing in two events, small bore and air rifle.
“We look forward to competing at Ole Miss,” head coach Fred Harvey said. “It is one of the finest ranges in the country and they are wonderful hosts as well as superb competitors.”
Nevada finished in eighth place last season at the NCAA Championships at Ohio State, and hopes for another successful season. This year, Nevada will be competing against Jacksonville State, UTEP, Ohio State, and Air Force.
