Governor Brian Sandoval today announced that BizChair, an internet retailer of office chairs, office and restaurant furniture, home, school and medical furniture has leased 300,000 square feet in Stead to locate a western distribution center.  The Governor this afternoon spoke to the company’s co-owners, Gary Glazer and Sean Belnick, to welcome them to Nevada.

“This is fantastic news for our state,” Governor Sandoval said.  “BizChair is an eRetail firm which is experiencing significant growth and needed a new western distribution hub. The company chose Reno because our location cuts freight costs and shipping time to their West Coast customers. I am thrilled to welcome them to Nevada and I look forward to a very productive working relationship.”

Started in 2001 by then fourteen-year-old Sean Belnick, BizChair is currently headquartered in Canton, GA.  In 2005, BizChair reported $13.6 million in sales.  In 2010, sales rose to $58 million. The addition of the Stead facility is BizChair’s first expansion out of Georgia.
