With the loss, Nevada drops to (6-9-3, 2-3-2 MW), while Boise State improves to (9-8-2, 4-2-1 MW).

The Wolf Pack and Broncos started the match aggressively on both offensive ends, combining for a total of 18 shots in the opening period. Nevada produced four corner kick opportunities in the first half to one for Boise State. Broncos junior Ashley Hruby gave Boise State a 1-0 lead in the closing minutes of the half with a goal from the right side of the box in the 42nd minute.

Nevada opened up the second half with consecutive shots on goal and a corner kick that was cleared by the Boise State defense. The Wolf Pack had several other opportunities in an attempt to even the score, but fell short as the Broncos claimed the 1-0 win.

Nevada will travel to the 2012 Mountain West Soccer Tournament as the No. 6 seed next week at the SDSU Sports Deck in San Diego, Calif. The team’s opponent will be determined following the end of the remaining Mountain West regular season matches.
