On Friday, October 5th, 2012, the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce will host the 19th Annual “Making a Difference” Golf Event at one of the premier courses in northwestern Nevada, the Dayton Valley Golf Club. Registration is at 11:00 and Tee Off is 1:00.

This year the Dayton Chamber is “Making a Difference” for the Dayton Food Pantry, a committed program powered by community volunteers that welcomes your help in keeping up with demands of supplying food for hundreds of local families in need. The Dayton Chamber knows this is not just an important cause, but a cause for unified action. Golfers at this event who bring 2 food products, dry or canned, can receive 2 FREE mulligans. In addition to a food drive during the event, the Dayton Chamber will use this event to raise funds for a cash donation for the Dayton Food Pantry.

The Dayton Valley Golf Club is an Arnold Palmer Designed Facility with a championship course set in the high-desert and surrounded by views of the Sierra Nevada mountains. It’s easy to see the reasons that this annual event brings visitors to the Dayton area from all over the Sierra Region including Reno,
Sparks, Lake Tahoe, Carson City, Douglas County, Oregon and California.
