Sierra School of Performing Arts is pleased to announce our 2012 -2013 schedule with an exciting new
collaboration with Good Luck Macbeth, more acting classes, shows and camps! We hope you will join us!

SPECIAL EVENT: COLLABORATION CELEBRATION
An event for kids and parents to learn more about this groundbreaking collaboration of educational and
children’s theater.

SPOTLIGHT ACADEMY FOR YOUNG ACTORS: A collaboration between Sierra School of Performing Arts & Good
Luck Macbeth to train young theatre artists in acting , production, musical theatre and audition technique, with
three sessions of classes; fall, winter and spring.

Spotlight: FALL ACTING CLASSES
September 24 – November 2, 2012 (1x per week)
Sierra School of Performing Arts and Good Luck Macbeth are teaming up to offer six weeks of acting classes with
a full dramatic theater production Nov. 9, 10, 11, 2013.
Classes will be held at the new Good Luck Macbeth theater at 713 S. Virginia St. in Reno from 4-5:30p every
Monday. Actors in grades 3-12 are invited to learn the basics of acting, improvisation, voice, movement, and
more. Classes cost $ 110.00 per student. Instructor: Rachel Lopez.

Spotlight: FALL PRODUCTION: The Princess and The Pea
Auditions: September 19 & 20 from 6-8pm
713 S. Virginia St., Reno
Directed by Rachel Lopez
$25 production Fee (fee will be waived for Fall Class members!)
Showing November 9, 10 & 11, 2013

Spotlight: MUSICAL THEATER INTENSIVE:
January 7, 2013 – March 1, 2013
8 weeks of classes – 2x per week
Shows March 1, 2, 3

Actors in grades 3-12 are invited to learn the basics of acting, musical theater, dance and vocal instruction.
Another collaboration between SSPA and GLM, these classes will run for eight weeks and culminate with a full
musical production in March. Classes will be held at the Good Luck Macbeth Theater at 713 S. Virginia St., Reno
from 5-8p, Days TBD. Classes cost $ 250.00 per student.

Rehearsal starts week of May 28
Sierra School of Performing Arts will produce the Broadway musical “Bye Bye Birdie” for Artown 2013.
Performances: July 12, 13, 14 & 19, 20, 21, 2013 at the Redfield Proscenium Theater

Sierra School of Performing Arts will offer their popular “elective” theater camp for actors in grades 4-9. Camp
