Reno author Maggy Anthony joins 20 local authors at Minden library event, Oct 3

Join noted Reno mystery series author Maggy Anthony during “An Evening with Local Authors,” a free gathering and discussion with more than 20 authors, Wednesday, Oct. 3 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Douglas County Public Library, 1625 Library Lane in Minden, Nev. Books will be available for purchase and author signings. The event is free and open to the public.

Anthony’s novels include Death is a Crapshoot — A Hank Faro Mystery, set in Nevada of the 1940s and ’50s, and The Cup of the Ptolemies: A Thea Stangos Akashic Thriller, set at sites around the modern world. The two mystery series were recently launched on Amazon as Kindle eBooks and are also available in print.

Authors scheduled to participate at the Minden event include Conrad Buedel, Dave Anderson, Kaine Andrews, Maggy Anthony, Megan Avila, Todd Borg, Victor Brodt, Sue Cauhape, Catherine M. Cavanaugh, Bob Chambers, Linda Chambers, George E. Gruell, William Hill, Lewis Horton, Sandie La Nae, Elizabeth Leiknes, Janice Oberding, Skip Pardee, Elizabeth Patterson, Ben Rogers and Cindy Southerland.
