Renown Health will offer one free in-person seminar and three free Online Health Series webinars on a variety of health related topics during the month of September. All four seminars are open to the public. The Online Health Series seminars are accessible to anyone with a phone and a computer with internet access. Participants are encouraged to register early for the seminars.

- 45 minutes that will change your life: a new era in minimally-invasive weight loss procedures: Wednesday, Sept. 5, 5 p.m., Mack Auditorium, Renown Regional Medical Center – (free public event) – Kent Sasse, MD, MPH, FACS, will discuss current weight-loss procedures. Topics include the recently approved laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy, weight-loss procedure risks, the risk of not undergoing a procedure and reasons for why a weight-loss procedure can cure type II diabetes.

- Sports Injury Prevention and Recovery: Wednesday, Sept. 19, 6 p.m., Online – (free public event) – Amber Hayes, MD, will discuss ways to limit sports related injuries. Topics include sports injury prevention measures, sports physicals and steps to take if an injury occurs.
- Prostate Health: Tuesday, Sept. 25, Noon, Online – (free public event) – Angelo Kanellos, MD, will discuss important information about prostate health including who should be screened, signs and symptoms of prostate cancer and leading-edge treatment for prostate cancer using the physician-guided da Vinci Surgical System.
A question and answer session will occur at the end of each live seminar. Recordings of the Online Heath Series will be available online after each presentation.
