The Reno Chamber Orchestra’s 2012-13 season gets underway with concerts on Saturday, September 15 at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, September 16 at 2:00 p.m. at UNR’s Nightingale Concert Hall.
Violinist Elena Urioste, winner of the prestigious Sphinx Competition and recently selected as a BBC New Generation Artist by the British Broadcasting Corporation, will perform Beethoven’s beloved Violin Concerto with Maestro Theodore Kuchar and the RCO. The performances will also feature Zoltán Kodály’s Dances of Galánta and the Symphony No. 2 by Camille Saint-Saëns.

Pre-concert talks featuring Ms. Urioste and Maestro Kuchar, in conversation with the RCO’s Chris Morrison, will take place inside Nightingale Concert Hall starting 50 minutes before each performance.
