Students at both campuses now have the opportunity to take easily transferrable courses
Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) has partnered with Great Basin College (GBC) to offer online classes to students from both campuses. Registration and enrollment remains open through Friday, Aug. 31, and classes begin on Monday, Aug. 27. All courses are easily transferrable between colleges.
Courses available to TMCC students through GBC cover subjects including computer information technology, computer office technology, drafting, English, human development and family studies, management, fire science technology, real estate and sociology.
GBC’s main campus is located in Elko, Nev., and currently serves nearly 4,000 students. With support from the industry, GBC has developed 48-week accelerated associate’s degree programs in five technical areas.
