Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) welcomes new students for the fall 2012 semester and will host its annual ‘Fall Welcome Fair’ on Wednesday, Sept 12. Students will have the opportunity to connect and engage with TMCC faculty and staff to learn about the wide variety of academic programs and campus resources that the college has to offer. The fair will be located in the Student Center on the Dandini Campus from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
“The transition to college can be difficult and it’s important for students to know and understand all of the resources available to them,” said Dr. John Tuthill, vice president of student services and academic affairs at TMCC. “The Fall Welcome Fair is the perfect way for students to network with faculty and staff and learn more about the college.”
The Fall Welcome Fair will help students organize their time and utilize their skills to reach educational goals and stay on track to graduate. Representatives from various educational programs will also be on hand for students with program-specific questions.
