Presidential Pig Race 2012 Predicts Obama Victory

Date:

A presidential running of the pigs at “The Best in the West” Nugget Rib Cook-Off predicts President Obama will win re-election in November.

In a completely unscientific method of predicting America’s next Commander in Chief, pigs dressed  to represent “Obama” and “Romney”  raced down Victorian Avenue in Sparks, Nevada, oinking for votes.

Just like the real 2012 Presidential candidates, these little piggies were pounding the pavement in one of the most important counties in the upcoming election! They put the “pork” in politics in this swing state.

It was a close race, but Pig “Obama” ended up “squealing” the top spot, winning by a snout.

John Ascuaga’s Nugget invited Nevada politicians to attend and cheer on their party’s oinker, and people were also able to register to vote at the event.

Romney-supporters only sulked for a moment, before joining the half-a-million people coming to John Ascuaga’s Nugget over the extended Labor Day weekend to enjoy ribs at one of the largest BBQ festivals in the country. The 24th Annual Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook-Off runs from August 29 – September 3, 2012.
