The Northern Nevada Susan G Komen affiliate is currently calling for last minute sponsors to support the 14th annual Race for the Cure this October in Reno.
The long standing Race for the Cure requires contributions in both monetary and service donations to execute by its quality standards, and in exchange offers a variety of benefits for supporting the Komen philanthropic efforts. Seventy-five percent of the money raised as a result of the local Race for the Cure is used to support breast cancer prevention and awareness efforts in Northern Nevada and a portion of Northern California.
Komen Northern Nevada has a variety of sponsorship options available for businesses, ranging in price and benefits. Many of the sponsorship levels include public relations outreach, including considerable media exposure beyond race day, website recognition, booth space at the race and banner placement.
Based on the level of sponsorship, supporters receive cause-marketing perks, visibility to more than 5,000 people in one day and an opportunity to showcase products, retain and increase customer loyalty and support local efforts to fight breast cancer.
The Northern Nevada 14th Annual Race for the Cure will take place at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino on Oct. 7.
