Wrapping up a successful second year in the heart of downtown Reno, Pie Face Pizza Co. (PFPCo.) kicks off its third year with more than what has come to be known as Reno’s best pizza and wings. The celebrated local pie maker is changing its name to PFPCo.’s Noble Pie Parlor, after the recent expansion of an Australian maker of meat pies to the United States. The new name takes effect August 1 2012.
“While the circumstances are not ideal, we’re making the best of it,” said Trevor Leppek, co-owner of Reno-based Pie Face Pizza Co. “We’re embracing the positive and creating an opportunity to further promote our business by letting everyone know that while the name might be changing, nothing else is. It’s still your favorite pizza and wings, with a side of entertainment and cold beer. It’s everything you’ve come to expect and that will never change.”
Located on the first floor of the historic El Cortez Hotel in the heart of downtown Reno, Pie Face was founded in 2010 by two young members of the business community, Ryan Goldhammer, and Trevor Leppek. Since then, PFPCo. has rivaled competitors by using local meats and produce, house-made sausage and meatballs, and eco-friendly/sustainable vendors and local distributors. And while its dedication to quality and freshness never go unnoticed, its night owl accommodations have furthered its reputation among downtown crowds looking for good food at late hours.
Pie Face is open from 11 a.m. – midnight, Monday and Tuesday; 11 a.m. – 2 a.m. Wednesday; 11 a.m. – 4 a.m.* on Thursday, 11 a.m. – 5 a.m.* Friday and Saturday and from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Sunday. The company also has an array of events, including a Sunday brunch from 11a.m. – 2p.m., Rock ‘n’ Roll Bingo, as well as art openings, guest DJs every Saturday Night, and live music where food/drink discounts abound. The company offers delivery service from 11 a.m. – 12 a.m.* on weekdays and until 3:30 a.m.* on weekends
