SCOTT FREEMAN NEWS RELEASE
Reno Mayor Bob Cashell and Sparks Mayor Geno Martini today endorsed Judge Scott Freeman in his race for Washoe County District Court Judge.
“Judge Freeman’s experience, expertise, energy and diverse law background make him the ideal candidate for Washoe County District Court,” said Cashell. “I am proud to endorse his campaign to be retained as Washoe County District Court Judge.”
“Judge Freeman’s passion for law, public service and community demonstrate his dedication to the citizens of Washoe County,” Martini said. “Judge Freeman is an asset to the Washoe County District Court given his devotion to the justice system over the course of his more than 28 year career.”
In addition to Cashell’s and Martini’s endorsements, Freeman has also been endorsed by Washoe County Sheriff Mike Haley. The Peace Officers Research Association of Nevada and the Nevada State Law Enforcement Officers’ Association support and endorse Freeman.
Governor Brian Sandoval appointed Freeman to the Second Judicial District Court on March 26. Freeman has practiced law in Nevada for more than 28 years.
