SUBMITTED NEWS RELEASE

NV Energy has begun changing over to the use of “smart meters”.  Their staff welcomes the chance to go over the ins and outs of smart meters, talk about the myths versus the facts about these meters, while also providing information on how they will help power usage for customers.  Following the presentation there will be time for Q&A.

“The library is an ideal venue for this type of program, “says Library Programming and Collaboration Coordinator, Beate Weinert.  “The change to smart meters is relevant to all of us in this community and we are proud to host these workshops in collaboration with NV Energy.”

Sessions begin in early July and continue into the fall.
