HOLLAND PROJECT NEWS RELEASE

The Holland Lucky Draw is a winner-take-all raffle extravaganza that directly benefits Holland Project’s all-ages programming efforts for teens and young adults in the Truckee Meadows. Lucky Draw (formerly known as Blaffle Pop) is one of Holland’s biggest fundraising events, with a goal this year of raising $10,000.  All proceeds directly fund Holland’s all-ages arts and culture programming and development of the Holland Workshop Lab. This year, for the first time ever, Holland will present THREE incredible prize packages for THREE lucky winners.

The three prize packages aimed at different areas of interest are 1) ART & MUSIC; 2) FOOD & DRINK; and 3) LOCAL & RETAIL. Purchasers can pick a preference or buy a combination.  Each prize package is valued at thousands of dollars and represents an incredible range of prizes from small gift certificates to one-of-a-kind large prizes like a two-night stay at Tahoe’s new Basecamp Hotel, season tickets to the NV Opera, or special personal tastings with the owners of Campo, Craft, Brasserie St. James, and Magpie Coffee.

“The local business, arts, and hospitality communities have really come through for Holland in support of all-ages arts and music opportunities for teens. Their support of the Holland Lucky Draw is astounding and has helped us create three great prize packages that we’re very proud to offer,” says Holland Board Member Mark Dunagan. “Our three lucky winners are going to have a terrific year.”

Tickets are 1 for $30, 2 for $50, or 3 for $ 70 and can be purchased at Crush Hair Studio, Bibo on Mt. Rose, Great Basin Community Food Co-op, St. James Infirmary or online at www.hollandreno.org/buytickets.

Winners will be announced at a special reception on August 9 at 6pmat Craft Wine & Beer on Martin Street in Reno’s Midtown District.  You need not be present to win, but those in attendance will be privy to surprise giveaways, live music, and more.

A full list of each prize package is available online: www.hollandreno.org/donate/luckydraw. Ticket sales will be capped at 150 tickets for each category, so each purchaser has a good chance at taking home the prize.
