The Carson Valley Inn features ongoing nightly free live entertainment in the Cabaret Lounge with no cover charge and no drink minimum. Special concerts are also held in the Valley Ballroom with the next event on July 22 featuring Mark Chesnutt. Cabaret Lounge entertainment is Sunday through Wednesday from 6:00 to 10 p.m., Thursday from 8:00 p.m. to midnight and Friday and Saturday from 8:00 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Paul Covarelli, June 24 – 26: Veteran musician Paul Covarelli is a talented guitarist and vocalist. He started the group Jo Mama over 20 years ago and also plays with other groups in the area covering jazz, swing, blues, Latin and more styles.
Vinny Messina, June 27: Vinny Messina and his band perform the hits of Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Sammy Davis, Jr., Dean Martin, Louis Prima, Elvis, Santana and more as they bring back the nostalgia and fun of the old days. Vinny describes his performances as the best of the transition period that bridges the days of the standards with the early days of classic pop.
After Dark: June 28 – 30: Playing your favorites from the 50’s through today, this high-energy rock n’ roll band will get you out of your seat and on your feet. After Dark’s band members have a collective 125 years of performance experience and the group has a continually growing song catalog.

The Motifs, July 3 – 7: Featuring brothers and lead vocalists Al and Phil Velasquez, The Motifs have been entertaining Nevada audiences for over 30 years with a variety of music including current hits, 50’s and 60’s medleys, country (old and new), pop, big band hits and some great Salsa songs. The Motifs have worked every town in Nevada including some of the top casinos in Las Vegas, Tahoe and Reno. The Motifs captivate their audiences with their great smiles, personality, charm, sincerity, showmanship and professionalism – a combination that creates a fun and feel-good evening!
Steve Lord: July 8 – 10: Playing guitar and offering dynamic vocals, Steve is a main stage performer on the west coast. Known as the man of a thousand songs, Steve presents an evening of oldies, country, pop, blues, jazz, soul and rock & roll

Midnight Express, July 12 – 14: Midnight Express is a 4-piece band with three strong lead vocals. The group entertains with classic rock, country rock and blues – everything from ballads to dance music. Midnight Express will perform special hours on Friday and Saturday, 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
Lee Alverson as Elton John, July 13 & 14: Lee Alverson captivates audiences with his singing and his dazzling rock ‘n’ roll piano playing. He has performed well over 3,000 shows with appearances in 38 states including corporate shows for clients such as Intel Corp, Universal Studios and Coca Cola. For the past 10 years, Lee has taken on the role of “Tribute Artist” becoming one of the most successful Elton John Impersonators in the world with endorsements’ by United Tribute Artists International and The Elton John International Fan Club. He will be performing one show each night at 8 p.m.
George Pickard, July 15 – 17: George is an accomplished performer, believable impressionist, captivating entertainer and successful song writer. He co-wrote “What Did You Do with Your Old Forty Fives” for Bobby Vinton and he backed up many acts from the fifties and sixties including The Shirelles, The Diamonds and The Platters. He was also one of the Kingsmen (Louie, Louie) for awhile. George has played the Fillmore in San Francisco with acts such as Santana, Big Brother and the Holding Company and Jefferson Airplane.
