NNMC hires new director of clinical effectiveness and performance improvement

Northern Nevada Medical Center recently hired Myrna Feldman as the director of clinical effectiveness and performance improvement. Feldman brings more than 20 years of quality improvement experience to the Northern Nevada community.

She spent the last two years as the director of quality and risk management at Hualapai Mountain Medical Center in Kingman, Ariz., where she was responsible for infection control, employee health, patient satisfaction and safety, and regulatory compliance for the hospital.

“We are delighted to have Myrna join our team,” said Mark W. Crawford, FACHE, CEO Northern Nevada Medical Center. “Myrna will play a significant role ensuring we continue to provide quality care to every patient, everyday.”

Feldman has a master’s degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She is also a Certified Quality Assurance Professional.
