Spring wildflower walk at Washoe Lake State Park on Saturday, May 19

Come join the park rangers at Washoe Lake State Park for a leisurely spring wildflower walk. This two mile, moderate walk will start at the main boat ramp. Discover some of the many beautiful wildflowers in bloom. Phlox, Daisies, Butterweed, Lupine, Larkspur, Paintbrush and many more will be highlighted on this walk.

WHAT: Spring Wildflower Walk
WHEN: Saturday, May 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
WHERE: Participants will meet at the main boat ramp. Washoe Lake State Park is 18 miles south of Reno and five miles north of Carson City. Travel on U.S. 395, take the Eastlake Boulevard Exit and park entrances are on the west side of Eastlake Boulevard.
WHO: The event is open to the public.
COST:  There is no charge for the program, but there is a $7.00 per vehicle entry fee. Nevada residents receive a $ 2.00 discount.
