Homebuilder announces grand opening of community

Capstone Communities is the first new locally owned homebuilder in many years to announce the Grand Opening of a new community. March 17, from 11-4pm, the new homes at Virginia Lake Crossing will open its doors to the public at its new model home. This new community is a breath of air to the construction community and the partners of Capstone feel this community signals a beginning to new construction in Reno.

Located next to Virginia Lake these new homes are the only kind of their type inside the McCarran loop. At the center of Reno, this community is only minutes from golfing, shopping, entertainment and even the airport. Capstone has captured what people desire when living in the Truckee Meadows, a lifestyle that’s equal parts life and style. The homes of Virginia Lake Crossing are complete with upgraded features like slab granite counter tops and stainless steel GE appliances. “We’ve put a lot of effort to provide not only quality features, but quality products in our construction, like the upgraded Optima Blown wall insulation,” said Mike Branson, Capstone partner.

Capstone has revitalized the Virginia Lake Crossing community by offering spacious floor plans with prices starting in the mid-$170s. From Camden Place town homes starting at $174,950 for a 1,494 square foot home with a 2-car attached garage to Glen Manor’s largest single family model of 1,839 square feet offered at $213,950 also with a 2-car attached garage. “Folks will find a lot of value in our homes and not just in the quality construction and home warranty, but in the lifestyle we believe people in our area look for. There’s just not another community in Reno like it at these price points,” stated Darrin Indart, Capstone partner. “And renewing this community is an important step in the recovery of our local economy.”
