Brain Awareness at the Library

Washoe County Library is proud to host members of the Sierra Nevada chapter of the Society for Neuroscience for BRAINIACtivities during Brain Awareness Week.  See real human brains, mouse brains, fly brains and more.  Join in for a short, engaging hands-on presentation about the brain.

Presenters are neuroscience majors, graduate students, Postdocs and faculty from the University Of Nevada School Of Medicine.

The program takes place during Brain Awareness Week, March 12-18 — a national event sponsored by the Society for Neuroscience. Its purpose is to educate and interest our local community about the brain.  The whole family will enjoy and learn from this program.
