The 8th annual Go Red for Women luncheon will be held on Fri. March 2, at the Atlantis Casino Resort & Spa. The theme of the luncheon, “Who Has Time For A Little Heart Attack?” will serve as an educational platform that encourages women to become champions of heart health by taking time out of the busy day to care for their hearts.

This year’s keynote speaker, former nurse, Karyn Buxman is now a humorist and expert in therapeutic humor. As a Lifetime Achievement Award Winner and inductee into the Speaker Hall of Fame, Buxman shows people how to harness the power of thought and the spirit of humor. Through her years of research and experience, she has determined that humor offers benefits that can serve as the catalyst for change and allow individuals to live more positive, productive and happier lives. She delivers inspiring life lessons in a fun, laugh-out-loud kind of way that is powerful, practical and memorable.
