Thomas named newest shareholder of TCI Wealth Advisors

TCI Wealth Advisors is pleased to announce Justin Thomas as the newest shareholder within the company. Thomas has been a financial advisor with TCI since February of 2010.

“Justin has been a very beneficial asset to our company as well as an exceptional advisor for his clients,” said Doug Nelson, senior advisor of TCI Wealth Advisors. “He has proven himself to our clients and within the industry. Becoming a shareholder illustrates his long-term commitment to the company’s vision.”

In July of 2011 Thomas earned his CFP® and has distinguished himself as a competent and capable financial planner, committed to the highest standard of excellence in the financial services industry. Thomas also holds Series 6, 63 and 65 Registered Investment Advisor licenses.

Thomas attended the College of William and Mary in Virginia, receiving his Bachelors of Science degree. Prior to becoming a financial advisor, he was a professional triathlete and coach for nearly a decade, highlighted by a third place finish at the 2003 Xterra Triathlon World Championships. Currently, his specialties include retirement planning, education planning and investment management. When he is not in the office he teaches a financial planning course through the Washoe County School District, is a member of the Financial Planning Association and volunteers as the Treasurer of the Reno Wheelman Cycling Club.
