SUBMITTED NEWS RELEASE

This New Year, help save a life by donating blood at the All Reno Radio Blood Drive on Thursday, January 5th and Friday, January 6th. Join your friends from United Blood Services, every Reno radio station, and the Reno Bighorns to promote blood donations in northern Nevada. The two-day event will be held in the Paradise Ballroom and Terrace at the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa from 10am – 7pm.

All donors will have a chance to meet their favorite Reno Radio Disc Jockeys, and the Reno Bighorns, including Bruno (mascot), players and coaches! For giving the gift of life, Atlantis will raffle away prizes, spanning from award-winning restaurants to Reno’s newest resort rooms. In addition, every donor will receive 1-free scoop of homemade gelato compliments of Atlantis and a Bighorns game voucher (good for any game).

Blood donors must be 17 or older, in good health and weigh at least 110 lbs. Donating blood is safe, simple and it saves lives. Most donors find it a painless and heart-warming experience. For more information about the All Reno Radio Blood Drive, please contact United Blood Services at (775) 324-6454 or schedule an appointment online at www.bloodhero.com.
