Michelle Decker has been hired as the senior account executive with Hometown Health. In her role, Decker will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining insurance broker relationships to promote, market and sell various Hometown Health products and services.
Decker has more than two decades of sales and marketing experience with Fortune 100 companies. Her most recent efforts were as an insurance broker with Senior Insurance Agency of Reno, one of the top local agencies specializing in sales of insurance in health, dental, vision and life. Decker also spent five years with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield as regional sales manager, where she was responsible for all sales and marketing and new business development of northern Nevada’s agent/broker distribution channel of individual, group and specialty business.
Decker is a licensed life, health, accident and variable annuities producer; a registered full-service broker representative (NASD-Series 7); a combined licensed registered investment advisor – Uniform State Law (Series 66) and a licensed property and casualty producer. Additionally, she is licensed in futures managed funds (Series 31).
Decker is the current membership director of the National Association of Health Underwriters, the former board director of the National Association of Financial Advisors; former president of the American Business Women’s Association, former diplomat of the Reno/Sparks Chamber of Commerce, former member of Soroptimist International of Reno and former graduate and teacher assistant at Dale Carnegie.
