As 2011 comes to an end, Holland Project, Reno is seeking the support of the community to finish the transformation that is taking place at 140 Vesta Street. After having raised $43,000 Holland Project is only $7,000 away from reaching its $50,000 “Home is on the Horizon” July 2011 fundraising goal.

“We are almost there,” said Britt Curtis, Holland Project executive director. “We are asking the greater Reno community to come together and help raise the remaining $7,000 we need to bring Holland Project home once and for all.”

Curtis added, “We are hoping to gather the support of 70 community members that can donate $100 each to help us complete the building.”

For the first time since 2007, the new space at 140 Vesta Street allows Holland Project to offer all programming – art gallery, music and performance space, library, workshop lab, offices and more under one roof.

“I am optimistic that we will raise the remaining funds by year’s end,” Curtis said. “Holland Project staff and Board of Directors want to thank all of the donors that have supported our Home is on the Horizon effort.”

All donations are tax deductible. To donate, please visit http://www.hollandreno.org/donate/horizon/.
