Thanksgiving festivities return to Bully’s Nov. 23-24

Bully’s Sports Bar & Grill on the corner of Pyramid & McCarran modifies its menu Thursday, Nov. 24 in honor of Thanksgiving, as it hosts its annual free Thanksgiving dinner  from 12 – 5 p.m. While still offering its full menu of tempting tastes, Bully’s staff also serves up turkey, stuffing and all the fixings on the national holiday – at no charge to customers – perfect for sports fans wanting an extra helping of Thanksgiving goodness or for those who simply don’t want to cook. And don’t forget, Bully’s 11th annual Turkey Bowling event makes for a memorable kick off to the holiday on Thanksgiving Eve, Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 9 p.m., at Bully’s #3 at Pyramid and McCarran and #4 in Carson City.

Work up an appetite the night before Thanksgiving by hurling a 15-pound frozen turkeys down makeshift bowling lanes for a shot at 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes including Bully’s Bucks, merchandise and more. Sign-ups for the 11th annual Turkey Bowling Tournament begin Thanksgiving Eve at 8 p.m. before the start of the “fowl” competition at 9 p.m. When Turkey Bowling begins, Bully’s doesn’t “spare” the drink specials, which are offered throughout the night’s festivities thanks to event sponsor, Budweiser

“Turkey bowling is one of Bully’s oldest traditions and one of our favorites,” said Jo Sonner, owner of Bully’s Sports Bar & Grill. “It’s a great way to kick off the holiday season with a night full of laughter and good old-fashioned competition.”

Bully’s Thanksgiving dinner is ideal for the college student who may be unable to make it home for the holidays or for football fans that are inclined to watch the big game on dozens of flat screen TV’s, but not clean up the big mess. Bully’s invites all members of the community to feast at its Thanksgiving dinner.
