Learn how to live a balanced lifestyle in the real world at this month’s WIN breakfast meeting

Joe Piscatella, one of the country’s most respected experts on living a balanced life, will present “Living Healthy in a Doubleburger.com World” at this month’s WIN breakfast meeting on Friday, November 18, at 7 a.m. at the Peppermill Hotel/Casino.

At age 32, Piscatella underwent cardiac bypass surgery. Today, 34 years later, he is one of the longest living survivors of bypass surgery in the world and is dedicating his life to successfully managing his health through lifestyle habits. Piscatella knows the science of exercise, diet and a balanced life and how difficult it can be to truly incorporate all three into an everyday routine. On November 18, he will share his expertise on breaking through and overcoming the barriers to healthy living. His keynote speech includes assistance on reading food labels, cooking healthy for yourself and your family and incorporating a healthy diet into the work day.

Piscatella is the president of the Institute for Fitness & Health. He has authored 12 best-selling books and is the host of three PBS television programs. During his career he has been a frequent guest on The Today Show, CNN, Fox News & Good Morning America. More than two million people have attended Piscatella’s seminars and he has helped hundreds of people lose thousands of pounds through his community wellness programs. He serves as the only non-medical member of the National Institute of Health’s Expert Panel on Cardiac Rehabilitation as well as on the Legislative Task Force on Youth Health which is charged with improving nutrition and fitness in elementary schools in Washington State.
