Woodburn and Wedge named Champion of Justice by Nevada Legal Services

Woodburn and Wedge, Nevada-based independent law firm, has been named the 2011 Champion of Justice Law Firm Honoree by Nevada Legal Services (NLS) for contributing to NLS’ efforts to promote pro bono legal aid to the Nevada community. Woodburn and Wedge will receive the honor during the Champions of Justice luncheon on Thursday, Oct. 20 at Peppermill.

Woodburn and Wedge attorneys have donated their legal services over the last year to numerous individuals in the Reno-Sparks area in need of free legal services referred to them by NLS. Woodburn and Wedge associate attorneys Brenoch Wirthlin, Joshua Woodbury and Shay Wells served the majority of the NLS referred clients.

NLS is a non-profit, state-wide organization providing free legal services to low income Nevadans. With three offices located in Las Vegas, Reno and Carson City and an outreach office in Elko, NLS has represented clients in federal courts, state courts and in administrative hearings.
