(LAS VEGAS) – The Glenn Group has been named Agency of Record (AOR) for The Mob Museum – the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement in downtown Las Vegas.  The agency was selected to create brand development, website, advertising campaigns and digital and social initiatives.  The Glenn Group will create a national brand that represents an authentic view of the historic and ongoing battle between organized crime and law enforcement. The Mob Museum is expected to open in February, 2012.

“We were impressed by the creativity and thoughtfulness The Glenn Group showed throughout the pitching process,” said Ceres Hill, director of marketing for The Mob Museum. “They clearly demonstrated their agency’s willingness to go above and beyond in their work and client service.”

The Glenn Group adds The Mob Museum to its growing roster of culture-shifting institutions and attractions that will pump new energy and life into downtown Las Vegas. Recently, The Glenn Group was also retained by The Smith Center, a world-class performing arts center, debuting in March, 2012.

“Being able to be so intimately involved in the grand opening of another attraction of this magnitude, that will have such a significant cultural impact on downtown Las Vegas, is an honor,” said B.C. LeDoux, president/creative director of The Glenn Group.  “The fact that the museum will present such a truthful, authentic perspective, exploring both sides of the story, is what drew us to this project.”

Former Las Vegas Mayor Oscar B. Goodman is a key visionary behind the project. Goodman was the go-to defense attorney and made a name for himself representing reputed mobsters such as Frank “Lefty” Rosenthal and Anthony Spilotro. Under construction in the former U.S. Post Office and Court House in downtown Las Vegas, the museum will be housed in the City’s first federal building and was the site of national hearings to expose and control organized crime in America.  With a focus on the history of law enforcement, The Mob Museum will reveal real stories and actual events through interactive and engaging exhibits that will expose unedited and largely unknown insight into the role of organized crime in the U.S. With multiple perspectives provided, the museum will be a contemporary, engaging, challenging and educational experience.
