CARSON CITY – Gov. Brian Sandoval today made the following statement regarding the death of Army Specialist Douglas J. Green in Afghanistan last weekend:
“It was with deep grief and sorrow that I learned of the loss of Douglas Green. As a specialist in the United States Army, Douglas influenced many lives and his presence will be missed. When his country called, Douglas made the ultimate sacrifice and for that, we are profoundly grateful. Kathleen and I wish Douglas’ family our sincere condolences.”
