WASHOE COUNTY NEWS RELEASE

Reno and Washoe County want to remind those affected by Friday’s air race tragedy that Nevada 211 is available to assist in connecting people with support services both locally and nationally.

Anyone needing additional support or with questions regarding the incident at Friday’s air races are encouraged to call 211 from within Nevada or 775.784.8090 from outside the state.

Representatives from the 211 call center can refer victims, families, observers and others to important support resources both locally and nationally using 211 systems throughout the country, as well as taking information from those looking for information on persons still missing.

Reclaiming property
Attendees who left personal effects in the grandstand area of the air races can call 775.972.6663 for more information on reclaiming that property. Property and effects located in the box seating area near the incident are still being processed. Further information will be released when those items are available to be reclaimed.
