SUBMITTED NEWS RELEASE

Blue Moon Promotions, northern Nevada’s premier advertising and promotional products supplier, would like to remind northern Nevada nonprofit organizations that the deadline to apply for the One Community Grant is Thursday, Sept. 15. Blue Moon Promotions is inviting local nonprofits to apply for up to $20,000 in grant funding. Northern Nevada nonprofits can apply for the grant by visiting www.npcatalyst.com/blue-moon and filling out the One Community Grant application by Thursday, Sept. 15.

Blue Moon Promotions, owned by Klaus and Kristin Grimm, has been giving back to the northern Nevada community for many years through donations, volunteering and community outreach. Donations already given in 2011 have benefited several local organizations including the Boys and Girls Club, Sage Ridge School, Step2 and Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful.

“We are lucky to live in a unique community like northern Nevada and we rely on each other to make this the best community it can possibly be, which is why we named it the One Community Grant,” Klaus said. “Blue Moon helps our local nonprofits continue the important work they do to meet our community’s ever-growing needs. We find it important to help support local nonprofits and by creating the One Community Grant, we are able to help these organizations to improve the quality of life in northern Nevada.”

Nonprofit organizations representing any sector are invited to apply for all or part of the $20,000 One Community Grant. Deadline to apply for the grant is Thursday, Sept. 15 with awardees being notified on Oct. 15. For more information and to apply, visit www.npcatalyst.com, or call 775-333-9444.
