Nevada’s 2nd Congressional District candidates attend event on campus tonight

The Associated Students of the University of Nevada will host a town hall with candidates of the 2nd Congressional District’s special election with guest moderator Sam Shad of Nevada Newsmakers

At 6 p.m. tonight, candidates vying for the state’s 2nd Congressional District seat, previously held by republican Dean Heller, will meet at the University of Nevada, Reno with students, faculty and community members about the state’s current issues, with moderator Sam Shad of the political television news program, Nevada Newsmakers.

WHAT: A free town hall, open to students, faculty, staff and the community.

WHO: Nevada’s 2nd Congressional District candidates Kate Marshall, Tim Fasano and Helmuth Lehmann. Sam Shad will moderate.

WHEN: 6 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 31.

WHERE: University of Nevada, Reno campus, Joe Crowley Student Union Ballrooms A and B.
