RMG RACE MEDIA GROUP NEWS RELEASE

All American Speedway’s highly anticipated Fan Appreciation Night takes place this Saturday in Roseville. The gates to the asphalt oval will be opened as fans take the track to mingle with the drivers, get autographs and see race cars up close. All the cars and drivers from all divisions bring their cars on track for the annual meet and greet.

Other plans include two bounce houses, kids cub karts, lots of free giveaways such as tickets for the Speedway and other events, t-shirts, caps, food coupons and more.

When the pros take over the track it will be for the NASCAR Whelen All American Series championship points race featuring NASCAR Late Models 100, Modifieds 40, street stocks and Bombers 35 laps. As the weather continues to stay hot with Saturday expecting temperatures in the low 90s, the points chase will also continue to get heated providing lots of racing action.

In the street stock division, Mickey Owens continues to hold his points lead over the field but finished second last weekend, handing the win to Richard Poppert Jr., who is currently second in points. In third, Byron Gonzales is still working his magic on narrowing the gap for second.

After a week off, NASCAR late models return. Matt Scott continues to lead the field with a 23-point advantage over Jason Romero sitting in second. Romero continues his winning streak as he tries to close the gap for first. Rookie driver Dylan Hutchison continues to show progression in his first year of stock car racing and has moved into the fourth position, narrowing the gap for third with Juan Pitta.

Dan Jinkerson has gained in his first place points lead as he captured his second modified win this season. Currently in second, Steve Cote is working hard to get Jinkerson shaking in his boots for the 2011 championship. With three races and one twin 50s left for the 2011 season, the battle for the top spot will only continue to get heated.

Seven-time bomber feature winner Chris Paulson has finalized his 2011 championship since the two drivers in second and third in points, Erick Ray and Matt Camp, have been placed on probation, losing all competition points, which gives Richard Perez the second spot. The gap between Perez and Paulson is so far that Paulson has set in stone the 2011 championship.

Pit gates and registration open at noon with practice starting at 2 pm. The grandstands open at 4 p.m. with qualifying set for 4 p.m. and green flag racing at 6 p.m. Ticket prices for the evening will be as follows:
Adults (16-59) $13
Seniors (60+)
Juniors (6-15) $7
Kids 6 and Under FREE
Family Pass (2 Adults, 3 Jrs) $35
