WASHOE VALLEY, Nev. – Washoe Lake State Park is hosting a Dutch-oven cooking course Saturday, August 20, 2011. Local Dutch-oven experts Doug Thomas and John Collier of the Northern Sierra Dutch-Oven Group will lead participants in preparing appetizers, main entrees and desserts.

WHO: This event is open to the public. The program is limited to 30 participants. Priority will be given to those who have never attended this program before. Call 775-687-4319 to reserve a space.
COST: There is no charge for the program, but there is a $ 7.00 park entry fee per vehicle. Nevada residents pay $5.00 per vehicle. Cooking supplies will be provided, but participants need to bring their own drinks.
