Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue personnel and the RAVEN helicopter responded to the area near the Sutcliffe Marina at Pyramid Lake for a water rescue of three juvenile that had been pushed towards the center of the lake.

While battling high winds and 4-foot swells, RAVEN Operators located the three juveniles inside a partially inflated raft approximately a quarter mile off the western shore. RAVEN Operators established a low hover and lowered a basket down to each of the juveniles. These juveniles were ultimately hoisted into the RAVEN helicopter and safely returned to the boat ramp where Fire personnel had assembled.
